Product description
The Tigo Access Point (TAP) is a wireless mesh communication device for Tigo TS4 smart modules and retrofit devices (TS4-A-O, TS4-X-O, TS4-A-S, TS4-X-S). It communicates wirelessly with the modules to enable module-level monitoring and wireless rapid shutdown, relaying grid status to the TS4 MLPE for UL rapid-shutdown compliance. The TAP connects to a Cloud Connect Advanced (CCA) via RS485 cable and draws its power from the CCA (5–25V, 0.5W average), with multiple TAPs daisy-chainable. Each TAP covers up to 300 TS4 units within a range of 10m to the closest and 35m to the farthest device, and mounts to the module frame without tools. It is rated IP68 / Type 3R for outdoor use across a −30 to +70 °C operating range.
