The GoodWe ESA combines single-cabinet deployment with the tools to earn from stored energy: the integrated EMS supports peak shaving, demand control, participation in energy trading and off-grid backup, and with 125 kW against 261 kWh the system charges or discharges fully in about two hours — sized for daily cycling on Nord Pool spot prices, absorbing cheap or surplus-PV hours and discharging into evening peaks. Open Modbus TCP/RTU lets third-party optimizers, aggregators and VPP platforms dispatch it directly, while AC coupling drops it into existing PV plants alongside grid-tied inverters without touching the DC side (with a SEC3000C controller, parallel ESA units work with up to 40 GoodWe string inverters). The whole stack — PCS, BMS and EMS — is GoodWe's own 3S development, so one manufacturer answers for the complete system, and that manufacturer has built inverters since 2010, passed 100 GW of installations worldwide and holds BNEF Global Tier 1 inverter manufacturer status. Safety runs six layers deep, tested to UL 9540A methodology: aerosol fire-suppression modules in the packs and cabinet, plus smoke, thermal and combustible-gas detection, alongside water-based suppression and pack-level humidity monitoring with auto-dehumidification. Cell-level liquid cooling and AI-driven battery diagnosis extend lifespan (6,000 cycles per GoodWe) and cut O&M, with full operation down to −25 °C for Baltic winters. Start with one cabinet and scale to 20 in parallel — 2.5 MW / 5.22 MWh — and add off-grid operation with grid-forming and VSG through the GoodWe STS Box (separate unit).

The GoodWe ESA GW125/261-ESA-LCN-G10 is an all-in-one C&I energy storage system: a 125 kW power conversion system, 261 kWh of LFP battery capacity (five 52.25 kWh modules with 314 Ah cells) and an integrated EMS in one outdoor cabinet. Built for factories, farms, EV charging stations and commercial complexes, it delivers up to 137.5 kW at 400 V AC with 98.6% max. PCS efficiency and scales to 20 units in parallel for 2.5 MW / 5.22 MWh. Battery packs use smart liquid cooling, the PCS fan cooling; anti-islanding, AC overcurrent, short-circuit and Type II surge protection come integrated. The IP54, C4/C5 anti-corrosion enclosure operates from −25 to +55 °C, with Modbus TCP/RTU communication.
