The Pylontech OPTIM US L520-OMNI-2H is an all-in-one outdoor battery energy storage cabinet rated 522 kWh with an integrated 250 kW PCS, giving a two-hour discharge duration at 0.5C — the high-power configuration of the L520 platform, suited to fast-cycling duties such as ancillary services and frequency response, demand-charge management on high-load sites, electricity arbitrage and high-power backup. Storage is built on LFP 314 Ah cells assembled into HM7A200L modules of 52,25 kWh (166.4 V, 314 Ah, 345 kg each), forming a DC bus with a nominal voltage of 832 V and an operating window of 728–936 V. On the AC side the cabinet delivers 250 kW at 400 V, 3P4W, 50 Hz, tolerating a grid voltage range of −10% to +15% with a power factor range of ±1, and provides the same 250 kW off-grid with 100% three-phase unbalance capability for unbalanced backup loads. Round-trip efficiency is 90%. Thermal management combines liquid cooling on the battery side with fan cooling on the PCS — a prerequisite for sustained 0.5C operation — supporting −25 °C to +50 °C (derating above 45 °C), 0–95% RH and altitudes up to 3000 m (derating above 2000 m). The enclosure is rated IP54 with C3 anti-corrosion as standard (C5 optional) and integrated aerosol fire extinguishing. Communication is via CAN, RS485, Ethernet or 4G using Modbus TCP/RTU. Certified to IEC61000, IEC62477, IEC62619, IEC62109, EN50549, VDE4110 and G99. Dimensions 1900 × 1350 × 2480 mm (W×H×D), weight under 5,5 t.
