Pylontech OPTIM US A100-HY-M1D is an all-in-one 50 kW / 108 kWh commercial and industrial battery energy storage system with an integrated hybrid inverter, built for peak shaving, energy shifting, self-consumption and backup at factories, logistics sites, commercial buildings and EV-charging hubs. Battery, power conversion and thermal management ship in a single outdoor cabinet measuring 1050 × 2100 × 1300 mm and weighing up to 1.35 t, so the system arrives factory-assembled instead of being built up on site from separate racks, PCS and enclosure. Storage is LFP: six HM1D200FA modules of 18.086 kWh each (314 Ah cells, 57.6 V nominal, 127 kg per module) giving a 302.4–388.8 V DC bus, 160 A maximum operating current and a 0.5C charge/discharge rate. On the AC side the inverter delivers 50 kW at 380/400 Vac, 3W+N+PE, 50/60 Hz, with 80 A maximum output current, power factor adjustable across the 0.8 leading to 0.8 lagging range, 110% overload for 30 s and on-grid to off-grid switching in under 20 ms for backup operation. DC-coupled PV connects directly through 4 MPPTs rated to 100 kW of PV input — 200% oversizing against the 50 kW AC rating — across 8 strings at 20 A, with a 150–950 V MPPT range and 125 V start-up voltage. The cabinet is rated IP55 with C3H anti-corrosion, operates from -25 to +50 °C at up to 95% humidity and 3000 m altitude, uses forced air cooling with a 2 kW thermal management system covering both cooling and heating, and includes aerosol fire suppression. Certification covers IEC62619, IEC63056, IEC62477-1, IEC62040-1, IEC62933, IEC61000, VDE2510-50, ISO 13849-1, CE-LVD and UL 9540A.
