Product description

Solis FlexCore-ID-CB250A is the high-voltage control box for the FlexCore-ID indoor stackable energy storage system and is required to bring a stack of FlexCore-ID-BAT20kWh modules into service as a working battery cluster. It mounts on the same stand above the battery modules, handles the cluster's high-voltage switching and protection, and provides the communication interface to the Solis hybrid inverter and monitoring platform over CAN, LAN, 4G and WiFi. The unit is rated for 250 A maximum current, comfortably above the 157 A recommended charge and discharge current of a FlexCore-ID cluster, and supports clusters of 3 to 13 modules from 60 to 261 kWh, with up to 6 clusters in parallel to 1566 kWh. It measures 532 × 350 × 1000 mm — matching the module footprint — and weighs 50 kg. As part of the cluster it is rated IP20 for indoor installation, operates at 5–85% humidity up to 4000 m altitude, and falls under the cluster certification to IEC/EN 62619, IEC 63056, IEC/EN 62477, EN 61000 and UN38.3. One control box is needed per battery cluster.
