Manufacturer information
WHES is a leading provider of integrated battery energy storage systems. They offer solutions for various applications, from residential to utility-scale, focusing on renewable energy integration, grid stability, and cost savings. WHES systems can store energy from multiple sources, including solar panels and the grid, and release it when needed for backup power, peak shaving, or to reduce reliance on the grid.
Product description
The WHES PowerCore (WH-TIANWU-100-233B) is an all-in-one C&I energy storage system (ESS) with integrated PCS, powered by WHES PANGU OS, for commercial and industrial storage, grid arbitrage and balancing services. A single unit delivers 100 kW / 233 kWh using LFP (CATL 280 Ah) cells in a 1P·52S·5S configuration at 832 V, with 400 V three-phase output, 110 kW max power and <3% THD. It's built for fast deployment — under one day per unit, with roughly 4-hour commissioning on a 1 MW system — and integrates easily with PV, other renewables and third-party aggregator/balancing platforms via Modbus and TCP/IP. Field-tested in real-world grid arbitrage and balancing operation, it uses intelligent liquid cooling (keeping cell-to-cell temperature spread within 2°C, extending cell life up to 20%) and a four-level management structure for short-circuit, overcurrent, over/under-voltage and over-temperature protection. The IP55 enclosure is rated for -20 to +55°C outdoor use (derating above 45°C), backed by a 15-year design life (>80% SOH after 10 years) and PPB-level cell quality control.
