The Fronius Reserva BMS (Base Module) is the control and protection unit for each Reserva battery tower. It enables the connection, monitoring, and management of battery modules (3.15 kWh each) and communicates with Fronius GEN24 Plus / Verto Plus inverters via RS485 (Modbus RTU).
The BMS module includes essential protection functions (e.g., overcharge, deep discharge, and temperature control), LED status indication, and DC connections (4× Amphenol). The system is suitable for indoor and protected outdoor installation (IP65), operates within a temperature range of −20 to +55 °C, and up to 2000 m above sea level.
Each tower configuration (Reserva 6.3 / 9.5 / 12.6 / 15.8) requires one BMS module.
Fronius International GmbH (Austria) is one of Europe’s leading manufacturers of inverters and energy storage solutions. The Fronius Reserva is a DC-coupled high-voltage battery platform with LFP cells, offering high efficiency, modular scalability (2–5 modules per tower, up to 4 towers in parallel), and full integration with Fronius GEN24 Plus and Fronius Verto Plus inverters.
Certifications: IEC 62619, VDE 2510-50, IEC 62477, UN38.3, CE.
