Product description
The Pylontech Fidus PRO FB-L-5.12-EU-Pro is the self-heating version of the low-voltage 51.2 V modular battery platform, adding cell-level heating for cold-climate installation while keeping the same electrical performance: 5.12 kWh nominal, 4.86 kWh usable at a 95% depth of discharge, 100 A continuous charge and discharge (1C, roughly 5.1 kW per module) and a peak of 200 A for 15 s (2C, roughly 10.2 kW), with 103–120 A available for up to two minutes. The working temperature range extends to −20 °C to +55 °C: self-heating activates between −20 °C and −10 °C, charging and discharging are permitted above −10 °C, and the BMS limits current at temperature extremes — which makes the PRO the correct choice for unheated garages, outbuildings and outdoor walls in Baltic and Nordic conditions, where a standard battery would sit blocked for much of the winter. The discharge window is 42.5–56.8 VDC and the charge window 56–56.8 VDC. Scalability runs from one module to 114 modules / 583 kWh: up to 20 units per battery group and up to 6 strings in parallel (multi-group parallel connection requires the external LV-HUB-V2). Communication is over CAN or RS485, with 50+ inverter brands supported, and status is shown via LED with Bluetooth and optional Wi-Fi. The enclosure is rated IP65 with C5-M anti-corrosion, cooling is natural with no fans, protective class is I, and the unit accepts 5–95% RH non-condensing at altitudes up to 4000 m (storage −20 to +60 °C). Design life is 15 years with a cycle life of 8000 at 25 °C, 0.5C and 5–95% SOC. Wall, floor or rack mounting is supported; dimensions are 630 × 170 × 363 mm at 45 kg. Certified to IEC62619, IEC63056, VDE-AR-E 2510-50, IEC62477-1, UN38.3, RoHS, REACH, WEEE and EMC/CE.
