The GoodWe GT combines high power density with 110% AC overloading: the 125 kW unit delivers up to 137.5 kVA, so transformer capacity gets used, not wasted, and full power holds up to 45 °C ambient with no summer derating. 21 A per string connects high-power modules without clipping, and up to 20 strings across 10 MPPTs handle large, split-orientation roofs with string-level monitoring. Peak efficiency of 99.0% tops the class — less loss on every kWh — while built-in AFCI shuts down DC arc faults instantly and included PID recovery protects module health long-term, both standard here rather than paid options. The WiFi/LAN Kit-20 ships in the box, so commissioning needs no extra dongle, and SunSpec-compliant Modbus RTU opens third-party control. On the AC side it's the string inverter GoodWe pairs with the ESA storage — with a SEC3000C controller, parallel ESA units coordinate up to 40 GT-series inverters — so peak shaving or energy trading can be added later without touching the PV plant, from a BNEF Tier 1 manufacturer with 100 GW installed worldwide.
The GoodWe GT is a three-phase string inverter series for large C&I roofs: 100, 110 and 125 kW (GW100K-GT, GW110K-GT, GW125K-GT) with 8/10 MPPTs, two strings each — up to 20 strings on the 110/125 kW. Each MPPT takes 42 A (21 A per string) across a 180–1000 V window (max. 1100 V), with peak efficiency up to 99.0% (98.5% European) on the 125 kW. Protection comes integrated: AFCI arc-fault protection, PID recovery, string current monitoring, insulation and residual current detection, anti-islanding, DC switch and Type II surge protection on both DC and AC (DC Type I+II optional). IP66, −30 to +60 °C with full power up to 45 °C. Delivery includes the WiFi/LAN Kit-20 (Cyber Security) communication module — RS485 and Modbus RTU (SunSpec compliant) on board, LED indication with monitoring via the SEMS app (no on-device display), smart meter sold separately, 5-year warranty.
