GoodWe GW40KSDT-P30 AFCI

The GoodWe SDT G3 combines high-current MPPT design with C&I-grade safety. 40 A per tracker connects today's high-power modules without clipping, and the wide MPPT window — up to 8 strings on the 40 kW — handles split-orientation roofs. Built-in AFCI 3.0 detects DC arc faults, alarms through monitoring and shuts the inverter down instantly; Type II surge protection on both sides, remote shutdown and string-level monitoring are standard, and optional PID recovery protects module health long-term. Under 45 dB it's quiet enough above offices; IP66 and −30 °C operation handle Baltic weather. SEMS monitoring and Modbus TCP/RTU cover smart energy management and third-party control — from a BNEF Tier 1 manufacturer with 100 GW installed worldwide, in a sub-30 kg body that installs with two people.

The GoodWe SDT G3 is a three-phase string inverter series for C&I rooftops: 25, 30 and 40 kW (GW25K-SDT-30, GW30K-SDT-30, GW40K-SDT-P30), 3–4 MPPTs, two strings each. Every MPPT takes 40 A across a wide 140–950 V window (140–1000 V on the 40 kW; max. 1100 V), with peak efficiency of 98.7% (98.3% European). Protection comes integrated — AFCI 3.0 arc-fault protection, string current monitoring, insulation and residual current detection, anti-islanding, DC switch, Type II surge protection on DC and AC — with PID recovery optional. IP66, −30 to +60 °C, under 45 dB; RS485, WiFi, LAN (Bluetooth/4G optional), Modbus TCP/RTU.
