BayWa r.e. Solar Systems SIA is hosting an in-person Fronius installer training in Riga on 15 October 2026.

The training is for installers and EPC partners who want to better understand the complete Fronius ecosystem, from hybrid inverters and high-voltage battery storage to metering, commissioning and monitoring.

The programme includes technical presentations, practical recommendations, a commissioning demonstration and an open Q&A.

Fronius GEN24 and GEN24 Plus

The GEN24 family includes single-phase Primo GEN24 models and three-phase Symo GEN24 models.

GEN24 includes PV Point for basic backup power of up to 3 kW when sufficient solar energy is available.

GEN24 Plus adds battery operation and Full Backup when combined with a compatible battery and switching device. Compatible standard GEN24 units can also be upgraded later with Fronius UP.storage.

Fronius Verto and Verto Plus

Fronius Verto is designed for agricultural, commercial and larger residential applications.

Its multi-MPPT architecture supports complex roofs, multiple orientations and different PV module configurations.

Verto Plus is available from 15 to 33.3 kW and can provide three-phase Full Backup with a compatible battery and switching device.

Its Backup Power Boost function can temporarily provide up to 50 kVA AC peak power in backup mode.

Fronius Reserva and Reserva Pro

Fronius Reserva is a DC-coupled high-voltage battery for compatible Fronius hybrid inverters, with 6.3 to 15.8 kWh per tower and up to four towers in parallel.

Reserva Pro is designed for higher energy demand, offering 12 to 32 kWh per tower and up to 128 kWh with four towers.

Both systems use LFP cells, feature IP65 protection and support backup and black start operation with compatible Fronius hybrid inverters.

Fronius Smart Meter IP

The Fronius Smart Meter IP measures consumption, grid import and feed-in and is used in systems with battery storage.

It communicates via Modbus RTU or Modbus TCP over LAN or WLAN.
